TRAVELING TOPICS...an educational outreach project of TAHV
TAHV’s Traveling Topics is an educational program created in 1997 to meet the needs of TAHV members by providing affordable workshops and presentations on a range of topics dealing with volunteer issues and trends.Donations by our member groups and individuals make these workshops possible.
Traveling Topics meeting at Huguley Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Rottgers presented "You Are Not Just a Volunteer".
Traveling Topics programs are presented in your local area by excellent speakers and facilitators. The topic is chosen by the host group and can be personalized to meet the needs of each individual organization. These workshops provide education on issues relevant to today’s healthcare volunteer and offer invaluable opportunities for networking in a small group format.
Traveling Topics co-chairs can arrange for a professional speaker for your group or provide one of our innovative and popular “Let’s Talk” workshops.“Let’s Talk” presentations are facilitated by your fellow volunteers who are members of the TAHV Board of Directors.By sharing ideas in a facilitated networking session, we are able to learn from each other and build stronger volunteer programs for our healthcare facilities.
We will bring our “Let’s Talk” programs to you and address issues that you want to talk about!A variety of subjects are also available including:
•Recruitment •Gift Shops •Customer service •Fundraising
Traveling Topics programs are subject to speaker availability. For information, a current schedule or to schedule a Traveling Topics program, please contact:
