The TAHV Handbook for Healthcare Volunteers and Auxiliaries was published in June 2001. Funding for the publication was provided by an educational grant from the Seton Healthcare Network in Austin, Texas.

The 160-page Handbook contains practical, "how-to" information for volunteers.  Chapter topics include information on:    TAHV, organizing an auxiliary, membership and recruitment, leadership, meetings, committees, records, long range planning, teen volunteers, gift shops, newsletters, installation ceremonies, fundraising, and new trends.


The Handbook is in loose-leaf format for the easy addition of materials. Supplements and updates are available on an ongoing basis.
